KAMY opened a tent at the community forest open day hosted by the Shah Alam Community Forest ( SACF ) with an interactive climate module and art installation linking forest and climate crisis.
The Shah Alam Community Forest Society proposes gazetting the areas labelled “1” and “2” in the map above into a permanent community-managed forest reserve. The remaining patch of natural lowland dipterocarp forest forms a critical ecological corridor that connects the two remaining patches of Bukit Cherakah Forest Reserve.
