KAMY’s first talk in All Women’s Action Society (AWAM), earlier this year explored the intersection between climate crisis with gender, and how women empowerment is part of the solution.
This would not be possible without a safe space. The presence of civic and safe space is critical for the marginal and disenfranchised to congregate and speak on many public interest issues often controversial. Climate justice means we cannot ignore, isolate and persecute communities that will suffer the most.
